速写对绘画工具的要求不是很严格，能在材料表面留下痕迹的工具都可以用来画速写，比如常用的铅笔、钢笔、签字笔、马克笔、圆珠笔、碳铅笔、木炭条、毛笔等。

4、要首先确定和加强画面前后物体之间的明暗对比，即亮衬暗或暗衬亮，可以通过区分线条疏密或加上明暗调子来表现，以符合人视觉的“同时对比”要求。
